Faculty & Staff Professional Development Opportunities

During fall and spring semesters, InforMedia Service (IMS) faculty members rove the open computer labs in the Miller Center. These information specialists wear nametags on lanyards to help you recognize them. If the student consultants in the lab cannot answer your question, or if you would like a teacher's help with technology in the lab, ask for an information specialist at the 2nd East service counter.

IMS faculty are available at the Miller Center during the following hours:
Monday - Thursday:
9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Sunday: 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

InforMedia Services offers training and workshops and instructional technology support at no charge to SCSU faculty, staff, and students. Training and workshops are designed to provide the skills necessary to utilize the technology resources available at St. Cloud State University.

Special Requests: Special workshops can be arranged for individuals or groups. If there is a specific use for a software application that a department or group needs training on please e-mail us to setup a special session.
